kH TEST PROCEDURE

1. Take 5 mi of water sample to the container/tube using the 5ml syringe provided.
2. Shake the Solution ‘A’ liquid dropper bottle well and add one drop to the container, Water sample turns Colour EMERALD GREEN
3. Add Solution ‘B’ one drop at a time with continuous stirring until the emerald green tinge disappears from the solution and turns  ORANGE RED
4. Be sure to count the number of drops being added
5. The colour of solution at the end is ORANGE RED under normal conditions
6. Every single drop of solution ‘B’ counts for 1dKH
