Aquatic Life 10″ x 2.5″ Translucent Refillable Water Filter Cartridge

The 10″ x 2.5″ refillable filter cartridge can be filled with a variety of media such as DI resin, activated carbon, and other media. It fits standard 10-inch cartridge housings on aquariums and water purification systems. It’s an environmentally friendly alternative as this refill water filter cartridge is reusable. The cartridge cap unscrews to allow for refilling with the media.

Designed with a Twist-On Cap with a Sponge insert that prevents the filter media from flowing out. The translucent housing of this refillable cartridge allows for easy detection to know when it’s time to replace the media inside. When it’s exhausted, simply refill the cartridge with new media.

The AquaticLife refillable water filter cartridge is also compatible with Captive Purity, Kent Marine, Seachem, Coralife, BRS, and most other residential or aquarium/hydro DI and RODI systems.

Instructions for refilling:

1. Unscrew the cartridge cap and remove the foam ring.
2. Pour the media into the cartridge and pack it down as hard as possible.
3. Tapping the cartridge on a table will help settle the media.
4. Continue to add media until it levels with the top and you are satisfied that no more media will fit.
5. Replace the foam ring inside the screw cap and on the cap.
6. Attach the cartridge to the RO system making sure the arrow on the cartridge points up.
